Feel the Love Blog Hop

Hey all! If you have come from Michelle's Queen of My Craft Room Blog, you have made it to the last stop on this blog hop and THANKS so much for viewing what everyone has done for you. :) I'm sure all of their ideas have inspired all of you! :) I have some blog candy available so you will want to get in on that! :) To do that just leave a comment in the comment section with your email please in case you are chosen. I have a video on how to make the metal rose on the romatic card that I made for the hop. I am not a HUGE fan of having to have pinks, whites, and reds for Valentine's Day. I like a little bit of the more classic, romantic looking colors too. So, I chose purple and cream for this project.

Two Challenges in ONE!

Hey all! :) Well, I would have thought I would never create something that I would use for two things, but I have been super busy here in my studio. :) I have had a lot of things popping up that need to be done for design teams, friends, family, etc. On top of just the regular daily stuff....Thank God I am not a working mom. I am not sure how the career ladies do it out there. :) Being a stay-at-home mom is hard some days, but I LOVE MY JOB! :) Ok....enough of that. You all didn't come here to here me preach about that stuff! :) LOL!

So, Evelyn at Colorful Creations is having an Altered Card Challenge on the Colorful Creations site. The challenge will be going on now to January 15th so get over there and join. :) You will have so much fun! :) This challenge will take place every month so that at the end of the year we will have 12 cards! :) Now you can use whatever cards you want. I used my Heidi Swapp playing cards I bought A LONG TIME AGO! I really just bought them for the queen of hearts, but have been slowly using them up. :)

Also, you all know from reading this post of mine, that Michelle at Holy Cricut is also having a challenge. So this is where the TWO CHALLENGES IN ONE comes in. As all of you know- a snowman, ribbon, stickles, and patterned paper needed to be used for that challenge. So, I figured...AWESOME! :) So, here are my creations for both the challenges. :)

"Full of Beauty" Sasha and Cassie

My niece had come over when Sasha was about 5 1/2 months old without her two little ones and had some one on one time with her. :) These were pics I took of that time! :)

What I used: 12x12 DCWV-Garden Party, Stampin'Up paper (mats), My Mind's Eye-Diecuts (Full of Beauty and the clock face), American Crafts- Metal Photo Turns (on clock), Stickles, paper flowers (sticker bin), CTMH- ink for distressing- cocoa and dutch blue.

Fairy Card....scrap project! :)

This is a card I created on a whim after a trip to Michael's. I bought quite a few stamps that day and one of the sets is this Inkadinkado set. I came back home and so badly wanted to play with it and my new Prismacolor colored pencils that I dropped everything and STAMPED! LOL! The neat thing is....Every piece of paper was in my scrap bins! :) What I used: Like I said ALL of the paper was from my scrap bins.
